About The Worth Seekers

Our Story

This is an online community, created to provide practical financial education to women in all walks of life. We are committed to empowering women to look after themselves and their family financially, to open up the conversation around money so we can all understand it better and ultimately to help close the gender wealth gap.

The Worth Seekers is bringing together financial advisors, career coaches, business experts and everyday women to provide you with practical financial education. This is a platform dedicated to helping women close the wealth gap, claim their self-worth and grow their net worth.

Did you know that 1 in 3 women reach retirement age with little to NO superannuation?

I’m sorry – WHAT!! Despite the desire for equality, the strive to empower women in the workforce and the fight for a world where women can choose their future, one third of us are still waiting for our white knight to come and save us, provide for us and look after us in our old age.
I am not a money expert, I don’t work in the finance industry and I don’t want to sell you any products or insurance. I simply have a desire to change the statistics.
After going on a crash course in personal finance and doing most of it the HARD way – I decided there has to be a better way! And so The Worth Seekers was born.

On average women earn 18% less than men over their career.

There is still a wage gap that exists not simply in the corporate world but in the world of small and medium business owners where women should be on par with men.

We need to stop making excuses for this gap and start educating ourselves on how to better manage our personal finances as well as do what we can to see social change.

Money isn’t the enemy

It’s time we realised that money is just another thing we can talk about, learn about from each other and take control over in our lives. Our mission here at The Worth Seekers is to help women educate themselves, get comfortable with the uncomfortable conversations, stand up and do what they can to close the wealth gap, claim their self-worth and grow their net worth.

We are committed to having the hard conversations about money, women, work and worth so we can all learn and grow together.
